Hugo’s school picture for 2011… super cute. Little man in the green shirt.
The 2009 season saw in a little more success than the previous year, with goals in virtually every game, one win and most losses with a minimum threshold of dignity maintained most weeks.
Oscar also had some personal success, losing his goal scoring virginity and taking away the weekly prize as a result.
Enjoy the commemorative video … sorry about the obnoxious “soccer moms” in the background (that would be Oscar’s soccer mum).
Graham & Helena are on the road again. For anyone who wants to see pictures that put mine to shame.. check them out over here….
Turning 2 – what a milestone. Serious presents for the first time, a cake chosen by your siblings, inevitable sugar coma etc. Hugo wanted to say thank you to everyone for the great presents – he was going to send thank you cards personally by his father assured him the blog would be updated promptly!
Enjoy!

Was not so long ago, that a foolish new years resolution was allegedly made to run a half marathon in 2009. You might remember the early training, back when this blog was updated a little more often….
Well.. unbelievably for a Britt resolution, we actually did it.
SAFRA bay run in August was the warm up with a successful run, but some times that left us a little sheepish….
Last week, the grand finale with the Standard & Chartered half marathon – in times that could finally be openly discussed with both finishing in the top 5%.

Next years resolutions are up for debate… but submissions from the crowd are welcome!
Inspired by the Singapore formula 1 this year, we have thrown ourselves into lego construction with some enthusiasm. After some initial dabbling, the set has now expanded to take over much of the house…
Afterwards, we also made craft bracelets, but it didn’t have quite the same impact…![]()
OK – wow …. so this is super late. Doesn’t mean that we don’t love him though.
Little O’ski turned 6 a while ago. We have talked about it a lot and decided that 6 is a pretty big milestone… all about being grown up and what not, best behaviour bla bla bla… lets just see how all that goes then…
Orange was the theme of the day. An Spiders. And ice skating. A natural fit.
Oscar spent most of the time iceskating with his girls…
Little Maisie got amongst it too…
Hugie generally stayed above the fray…
And we paused the engulfing of pizza for just long enough to cut the cake…
Bring on 7 baby.
It used to be that you could just get dressed up. Not so much anymore.
Oscar’s “unit of enquiry” this term is “mini-beasts”. Little O ignored the arachnophobic whimpers of his father and chose to study the spider. Not enough to get dressed for the parade, it needed to be in fully recycled materials.
Pretty cute though.
